Braque du Bourbonnais
Braque du Bourbonnais - Rufnit Kennels
Rufnit Abbu is from the first litter to receive the prestigious "NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder Award" for the Braque du Bourbonnais (Rufnit "A" Litter whelped 10-30-2003). Both of his parents and four of his six littermates have been tested and acquired titles through NAVHDA (NA's, UPT's and UT's). Due to Rufnit Abbu's original family's need to dissolve their marriage and move to different residences, it was in his best interest to returned to Rufnit Kennels and be relocated. He resided with his previous family within their home. His family's residence was ~10 miles from Rufnit Kennels, so I've been involved with Rufnit Abbu on a regular basis. Their family consisted of two adults and four children. Even though his previous family did not participate in upland hunting, he did returned to Rufnit Kennels at different times for field training/exposure. He always continued to possess the desire, drive and nose of a "hunting machine" parallel to his sire, dam and litter mates.
UPDATE...
Within one week of his return to Rufnit Kennels, he is quartering the field at a "foot hunters" range/pace, responding to the whistle, responding to the e-collar (low stimulation and tone), pointing birds (steadiness will improve with wild bird exposure), retrieves downed game (to hand or within a step) and is eager to load in the truck to head to the field. Rufnit Abbu will be ready to be used on wild birds this season!! His obedience/field commands currently consist of: Come, Heel, Give, Kennel, Fetch, Hunt, Free, No, Whoa, Down and of course his name/nickname, Abbu/Boo. Rufnit Abbu will be placed in a training program focusing on further field development. His placement pricing will continue to adjust as his hunting abilities advance. Additional information and photos can be found on our site at RufnitKennels.com. For questions and/or inquiries please contact us at: RufnitKennels@AOL.com.
German Shorthaired Pointer
German Shorthaired Pointer - Nobelle Kennels
Well, beyond a started gundog.... Nobelles Final Testament .....AKA Tessie. Tessie is a beautiful shorthair by any standard. Her pedigree is a blend of selective German and American pedigrees. Her sire is an AKC Master hunter as well as a bench champion. He is hunted exclusively on woodcock and grouse in upstate New York. The dam is from a long line of NAVHDA Utility dogs as well as being a Utility dog herself. Both parents are OFA certified. Tessie is a very intelligent dog that loves to please. She has tremendous desire coupled with a loving personality that always wants to please. Tessie is two years old. She points her birds with style and intensity. She loves to hunt yet at home she is a loving member of the family. Her pedigree can be found on the website under dams. The only reason that I am willing to let Tessie go is that business and family obligations does not allow me to spend the time with her as she deserves. I will only consider homes that Tessie will be part of the family living in the home. She is completely housebroken. She is steady to wing and will retrieve to hand. Tessie will whoa to both verbal and hand signals. She will heel on a lead. She will turn directions on a two whistle blast and come directly in to both a verbal command or a single whistle. Tessie will kennel on command. She has done 150 + yd duck drags. She will make an excellent hunting companion. Commands she knows: Sit, Stay, Whoa, Come (voice and whistle), Turn (hand signal and whistle), Heel, Retrieves to hand, Points (intense), Honors (in the beginning stages), Kennel, Steady to the retrieve. Tessie is great with children and other dogs. She is way beyond a started gundog! For additional information please fee free to contact me. Both parents are OFA Tessie is 23 inches at the withers and weighs 52 lbs. Contact: Robert Corsaro, 201-447-0766, 201-248-0699 www.nobellekennel.comi. (posted 5/6/07)

Small Munsterlander Pointer
Small Munsterlander - Fall Brook Run (See our full color ad)
Fall Brook Run's Beewau. Small Munsterlander started pup Fall Brook Run's Beewau is availible to own (NAVHDA reg#SM002062), he was whelped March 10 , 2007 . Beewau can be placed high on the learning curve as he was awarded a Natural Abillity Prize One perfect score(112) at 6.2 months of age this past September, and with the upcoming grouse exposure and numbers high this year I expect he will be exceptional in training come 2008. He is certainly a strong candidate for the UT test as he has shown a strong duck persuit and even an individual search at 6.8 month. He thus far is a natural retriever to hand and may very well never need force breaking. He stands taller than most in the breed as I expect he will be 22 inches tall and close to 60 lbs. To see him and find out more of this offering go to the home page at www.fallbrookrun.com.
