Ask a training or behavior question
Every training situation is unique and differs by breed, age of the dog, and your training environment. However, before emailing us, we ask that you make sure your question has not already been covered in the past at Ask the Trainers and by searching past forum questions at Forum Search. This may seem like a lot of effort but it will save you time by not having to wait for a reply by us or our community.
If you do not feel that any of the past material currently online has answered your question, we ask that you either join the forum and post your question there for our informed community to answer, or if you do not wish to join the forum, send it to us and we will post it on the forum for you anonymously. If you do not wish for us to post your question to the forum, please state so and we will answer you directly.

Ask a health question
The health of your pet is very important so the best advice you can get will be from a Veterinary Professional. Here at VersatileDogs.com, we can only give you information based on past exeriences and lead you to information we have found on the web. You can also seek advice from our community on the Healthcare Discussion forum.
If your dog is vomiting, has diarrhea, is bleeding, injured or swollen, drooling, cannot swallow, is not eating or drinking, having convulsions, has a fever, birthing puppies or trying to, or is acting unhealthy, TAKE THEM TO A VETERINARIAN IMMEDIATELY!!! If you write us with any of these symptoms, this is what we will tell you to do because there is nothing you can do at home or over the Internet. Never be afriad to see your local vet! A good veterinarian will not turn you away because you cannot pay and will work with you on a medical solution within your budget.
You can still email us if your question does not fall within the "it's-an-emergency" catagory.

Listing your kennel
Listing your kennel is free and is open to all kennels from every country. If you breed dogs for the sole purpose of making a buck, don't email us. We only post kennel listings from kennels who carefully breed for form and function. If you are a responsible breeder and/or kennel, we will need you to send us:
- Kennel name
- Breed(s)
- Very brief tagline or info about kennel (10 words or less)
- Kennel owner's name
- City/Town/Province/Locality, zip/postal code, Country of kennel
- Phone number where kennel owner can be reached
- (Optional) email address
- (Optional) web site
Many kennels are reluctant to provide a phone number but if you cannot be accessible to your customers, then you can't be held accountable for your product! We will not promote this practice and require the kennel owners to post their names and a phone number if they want to be listed here. It can take us some time to post a new listing so please be patient - we will post your litter ad if you have sent us your kennel listing, even if we have not posted your kennel on versatiledogs.com yet.
NOTE: We are currently on moving our kennel listings database. This means that updates will be included in this new database and not the old one. Please do not hestitate to send in your kennel and litter listings anyway! We will post your litter listing as long as we have your kennel info on file.

Make a change to your existing Kennel or Business listing
If you have a kennel listing or other business listing that needs to be changed, please email us using this link. This will ensure your listing gets updated sooner. Please include:
- Kennel name and breed OR Business name and what feature it is located on (Business yellow pages, preserve pages, etc).
- New Changes exactly how you would like it to appear
Listing your litter or Started Dog
We want to help you find the right homes for your pups and dogs. If you only breed to make money, then we aren't the site for you. We only are interested in posting litters from responsible breeders!
We require that the listed litter information you email us MUST INCLUDE:
- Hip certification numbers of the parents (OFA, PENNHIP, etc. if available)
- The names of both the sire and the dam
- Qualified kennel registration numbers (AKC, UKC, CKC, NAVHDA, etc)
- Full contact information with owner's names, addresses and phone numbers
- Date of whelping or expected date of whelping
- Any additional information you feel potential buyers might want to know about your litter, such as awards, temperment of parents, quality of pedigree, pricing, etc.
We realize that some kennels outside of the US and even some kennels within the US do not perform hip certifications but still produce excellent dogs. For this reason, litters can still be listed without hip information but you must have your kennel listed on Versatiledogs.com's Kennel pages and provide AKC/UKC/CKC/NAVHDA/etc registration numbers. Please see the Listing your Kennel section for more information on listing your kennel with us. We give litter listings first priority when updating the web site but it can take us some time to post a new listing so please be patient.
NOTE: If you have a kennel listing pending with us (ie, you have sent us your kennel info), we will post your litter listing now!
