Now here is the rest of the story. These dogs where bought and owned by a young man who was breaking into the cover dog scene. He was a Police officer for Mauston Wi. polce dept. He died unexpectedly at the age of 29 yrs. Not work related.He left behind his wife and three little kids under the age of 4 years, along with his 3 pointers. it was a tragic loss for the family and also the Mauston Police Dept. He was a customer of mine. I helped him with his questions and troubles and mentored him in the right direction. I went and picked up these dogs because his wife has her hands full and needed help.
I am selling these dogs to good owners that hopefully will continue down the road that Andy was traveling with these dogs. All the money goes to the kids. I am not going to make a penny, my only interest is to help her out and see that they go to the right homes.
They can be seen at my kennel in Baraboo Wi. I will be attending FTs at Pine Island{Portage} and can be seen there also in the next couple of weeks.
I plan on taking some pics today and will send them to prospective owners. Please no tire kickers.

As of September 4th, Country-Side Breeders has a 3 year old female German Shorthair available. Up to date on shots, AKC registered, micro-chipped, e-collar and gun conditioned, obedience trained and crate trained. She's an average sized female, weighing 45#. While she has not had formal training, she is pointing and retrieving. Both parents are hunters, close working dogs. Both parents have also been hip certified. Female and neutered and all shots. This dog has been shot over and retrieved birds to hand. She has an incredible nose, strong point instinct, relentless drive and is very anxious to please. She is house broken, familiar with a crate and dog run.
She is extremely friendly and affectionate to everyone so she would make a terrible watchdog. This dog has been referred to as the Velcro dog and around the house this is very accurate.
He coat is short and tight with very little feathering.
I have pictures available and would be happy to talk in more detail about her. I will not ship but would be willing to meet you within a 2 or 3 hour drive from Scranton Pa.
This dog needs a home where there are people around often and will hunt with her often. $700 includes dog supplies and fenced double dog run if you care to pick it up.
She has been trained in obedience and hunting however, she is not a finished dog although I have hunted over her in a controlled setting and believe that as is she would be a better trained and capable hunting dog than many I have seen hunting in our local game lands.
