Tsamp: Gorgeous face.....

Eric: Yea, at least one. I botched another good bite and we had a couple long line (pre net) releases with small Chinooks. Had Greg in the boat with Josi (Bone Point). She is a sweetie, a real character. Never a dull moment with her around. Love that kid.

Fished the Clark Fork today with the vintage Lamiglass fly rod and caught some smallies. Made sure to wear my high end wading shoes and waders...

Tried to coax some grayling to the boat. Wore my old Twinkies cap, gray pants, old lord boards, and a sweatshirt.

Had no idea I touched a nerve over how we dress ourselves.
This is so much fun discussing our outdoor recreation apparel issues :D

I'm offended by the nerves you have touched. 8)

I wear the same pants every day of salmon fishing down here at Astoria. They put out quite a stench. Short season this year as I shredded the quadriceps on my right leg Thursday and won’t be able to do anything for a long time. Stuck sleeping on the couch and peeing in a jar. Pretty shaky on crutches. Doubt I’ll be able to do any hunting this year. Wait and see.

Harvey, how in the hell did you manage that? Sorry to hear that. I wear the same pants in my fur shed all year long. After the grease from the beaver, coyote, wolves and otter sets in to those pants the stank is unimaginable on a hot day when I happen to wear those pants.

More importantly than pretty tough guy clothes and more recently, smelly pants  - Ouch, the thought of missing a bird season......
I'm attempting to stretch biceps tendon/rotator surgery until after Jan.1'st. Hopefully orhunter, you'll somehow make it out there at sometime this fall.

I have to store my tuna fishing clothes in a plastic bag and that’s after several trips through the washing machine.

I was hurrying down the stairs in the dark in some sort of clumsy shoes and the right one hung up on the last step. Crash and burn. Was headed for the boat but the day’s plans suddenly changed. Called my wife in Beaverton at 6:15 to tell her when she got down here she’d need to haul me to ER. Took her 2 1/2 hours to get here. The fellow that was fishing with me had to call a friend with an open seat on his boat. We woulda caught fish as I heard there was a good bite where we’d have been. I can feed myself and that’s about it. Stuff happens.

Should know in a couple of weeks if it’s not as bad as I think it is.
