Greetings from NZ

Postby MargC » Fri Apr 10, 2020 6:39 pm

Tried this once already. Haven't been on VDogs for a long time, how are you all doing?
We are in "lockdown" in NZ which means only essential business still running, otherwise we are at home. We can still go out for walks or drive short distances but to keep 2 metre away from people outside our "bubble".
Bubble is you or people you live with. People in NZ went mad buying toilet paper too!
I can't take my dogs to the usual places for exercise but lucky to have a bush reserve with walking tracks at the end of my street.
The roar has been cancelled, no hunting and no fishing until, I'm not sure, end of April I think. Could be longer if the virus is still spreading but so far we have managed to cut it right back.
Last year I missed game bird season as I smashed my shoulder, very little in the way of game birds in my area now but it was still good to get out with the dogs.
I still have a GSP and a Vizsla.
Anyway, be careful and keep well. :)

Greeting from Hudson Valley, NY

What kind of birds do you guys usually hunt in NZ? (I know you cannot hunt the native birds)

Manuka honey and woolen socks still going strong - red stag antler aphrodisiac not so much (according to orhunter-Harvey! )

Good to see you back home, Marg -
