Worked Both dogs this morning. Here is the first of two pigeons I worked Tess on. I put quite a bit of pressure on her taking my time, she broke, I launched the bird the moment she did.

Here is the second bird. She held so I shot it. I thought she had it and called her prematurely. Luckily she persisted in her hunt dead and then came right to me once she found it.

With no pup of my own, I appreciate all the posts that allow me to live vicariously. This goes out to everyone.

Looking real good AG. Nice shot on the pigeon in the wind!

Is she starting to wise up in regards to training birds? Doesn't seem to be the far range we've seen previously.

I was being directive with the tone on the ecollar for several reasons.

Here she is on this morning's run.

Oh man, she's fun to watch. Really can't wait to see her with her first wild bird. Only three months or so!

"Gimme 40 acres for to turn this rig around". :D
I just hate seeing birds die of natural causes unless I'm that natural cause.

She Broke on this while I was simulating flush off camera so no shot.

Starting to require her to sit and wait to be sent on Retrieves as well as just laying the bumper or bird down vs always throwing it.
