Just bought my hunting license for North Dakota, along with my application for swans! Guess we'll see what happens!

ND just released their grouse preview. Uffda, even worse than last year. May have to switch up the early season plans.

The GFP is also saying that goose reproduction is maybe 25%, and my buddies who tried early goose are corroborating that.

Tough going.

We started on Saturday with sharptailed grouse, then yesterday it was pheasant. The plan is to hunt at least three days per week for upland, and once per week for waterfowl, for the next few months, or until the geese leave the area. I should get at least 35-40 days in the field this year.
