Oregon Chukar

Postby greg moyer » Thu Jan 25, 2018 7:25 pm

Well as they say all good things must come to an end!! Only six more days till the season ends. After five months over 11000 miles and having the chance to hunt in five states its time to give the dog a rest.

Great work, Greg. I love that first pic.

One can only guess how many miles Josie has ran, and how many birds have been shot over her. She ended up with the perfect owner!

That sounds like a helluva way to end it. Really like the looks of your dog. Thanks.

Josi is going to die of boredom. Fishing all spring and summer doesn’t cut it.

Very nice!

what you cant really see though is good shooting! If you haven't done this before, its very difficult to get quality shots. even with pointers.

But Im curious, 9 birds on the hood????????

That was the last day of the season. Hunting partners birds on the left mine on the right. Way harder to hit than pointed roosters that's for sure!!!

This always cracks me up. Someone sees one person posing for a picture with two limits and has to insinuate that shady business is happening.

Who do you think is taking the picture??? Lol

That was a joke! And for your info, thats not two limits! In fact if the piles are divided by those that shot them, there aren't any limits!!!!! But still a good day!

Harvey I will give you a call when the fishing gets good. The BWO should start hatching around the middle of March. Elevation here where i'm staying is over 6000 ft and its still a little cool!!!
