Barrett found 5 sheds and pointed 2 pheasant today. Couldn’t be happier with him.

I’ve been throwing sheds and send him to retrieve them three or four evening a week.

His coat looked way better before I stripped it a couple days ago. Think I might of went a little overboard.

Makes me wonder if I need to strip my griff, he’s 6 months old. Not sure when I should do it. His hair does not pull out very easily so I think I am suppose to wait?

Yea, awful young to strip. Never do it before the coat goes dormant. Timing is everything.

If you need stripping instructions, PM me your e-mail address and I can send you some.

Done correctly and at the right time, you should take off almost the entire outer coat.
