Five week road trip in Montana and ND. Starting in central Montana to the Saskatchewan border south to Wyoming and east to ND.
Great hunting and scenery the whole way!! Dog is a little tired and beat up but HAPPY. Headed back to Oregon for the devil birds....

Right rear just below the knee. She found something sharper than barbwire. Seven inside and five outside stiches. Pulled the drain tube after three days and was back hunting on the forth.

Hey Greg. You gotta post some photos of what the dog does during the summer months.

We started this spring with a month long fly fishing adventure. Green river in Utah than on to Henreys Fork of the Snake in Idaho and ending up the Owyhee.
Fished the ocean for tuna, salmon, bottom fish for four months.
Been bird hunting since. Got a elk to find at the end of the month than chukars are on the list till the end of the season.

If watching your dog doing what it was bread to do ever gets boring than its time to quit hunting.
Only hunting marginal habitat and wheat stubble. Not killing limits every day.
I know where my food comes from..
