Leaving tomorrow for Michigan and ruffed grouse. Hopefully Barrett catches on quick.

Stretch, thanks for sharing and excellent job getting your pup into the birds. That is what makes the great ones and it looks like Barrett is well on his way.

If I was a better trainer Barrett would be ahead of where he’s at now. He is capable of way more than the knowledge I have. If he was in the right hands I think he could be VC material but I don’t even know where to start so we’re going kill the hell out of things and have some fun.

Makes me smile. I was in the same place once with my first Vdog and did the same. All things considered he was probably my best dog to date for "killing the hell out of things and having fun".
