I have Zero knowledge of the breeder you are asking about but a quick cruse over their web pages and I don't see even one dead bird. Is this a "Show lines" kennel or a hunting lines kennel? Does that matter to you?
I am a hunter, is why I would take notice.
Good Luck in your search.

Their website looks pretty good. While I agree with Don about the relative lack of dead birds, I do see several pointing pictures and a picture of 2 dead roosters with their dogs under the gallery section. There's also a picture of a puppy with a hen pheasant in it's mouth. They also do say that their primary interests involve hunt tests and hunting with their dogs.

They mention Hunt Testing their dogs, ask where to find the scores for the sire and dam as that is what you are buying.

YMMV

I attended a training day at the Midwest Tri-State NAVHDA chapter in Sioux Falls, SD this summer. I went out to the training grounds Friday evening before the official training day and there was a husband and wife working a beautiful young Viszla bitch on duck search. The dog did a nice job for its age and experience. We let that dog and my pup play around when they were done to give my puppy some socialization and the Viszla displayed excellent mental temperament there as well. My perception is they breed Viszlas on a pretty small scale. I also saw some Facebook posts this season of their dogs hunting in SD. Here is contact information if you are interested in exploring it. http://www.gundogbreeders.com/breeders- ... zslas.html

I have not seen this kennel name in any NAVHDA related activities in the Finger Lakes region, not that that statement is the end all for the quality of the kennel for hunting. purposes, but shows a lack of local participation in hunt dog training.
