Kansas self-guided

Postby redfish » Fri Dec 08, 2017 10:33 am

Considering taking the pup to SE Kansas to chase quail. Thinking this is the best bet for proximity and bird numbers. Would chase quail on our own on public land for a few days. But are there any places you can pay a trespass fee and hunt self-guided? Want to stick to wild birds, but maybe a place that increases our chances of locating a few covies. We are both a little in experienced, so just looking to increase our chances after a long drive. Thanks!

far amount of public hunting land in KS, they have a book or an app you can download that will give you all of the access. I think central would be a little better, drive the extra hour or two.

good luck,
