2016/2017 Season Recap Slideshow

Postby mtlhdr » Sat Apr 08, 2017 8:44 am

Finally got around to putting together some of my favorite pictures from last season. We covered a lot of miles, had a lot of fun, and put a few birds in the bag along the way.

Thanks. Chukar country really is photogenic and beautiful in it's own unique way.

Fantastic!

What's your typical camera/lens setup for the field?

I have a Nikon D5100 with a Nikon DX 18-200mm lens on it. Works pretty well, a little heavy and requires two hands but there's trade-offs with everything when it comes to cameras. Really like the versatility of the 18-200mm lens. Let's me get some nice wide angles but also get in close to the dog so I can take a photo without flushing (most) birds.
