Not a Good Day

Postby GSPmom+2 » Thu Mar 05, 2009 2:13 pm

Well all,

After much debate Soul searching and tons of tests ,blood, fecal, sugical, Diet, ETC.... The Day has come for MY Best Friend & Hunting Partner to cross the Rainbow Bridge, If this was any slim flicker of hope he was going to be able to lick this thing this would not be something I would choose. But better he will never be and he will died from it at some point. it is genitic so his parents if not one or both had it.

So, we got our bath and we eat stuff I never feed him and after work this afternoon HE will with Mom by his side cross the bridge. Taylor will be waithing for him at the gates. I know they will be there waiting for me to join them again for some hunting adventures. Tucker was the GSP I got when I lost MY Taylor-Weim. Man I know it does get easier, but it hurts like Hell right now.

Shawn,

Those 2 never met, as I said I got Tucker after Taylor, But knowing Taylor she was big for a weim female, she gave him the where 2's & what 4's, and then after all that they went Hunting. It is like losing Her all over again.
It does get eaiser. with time. Thanks, Lisa

GSP,

so sorry to hear about your loss. It is not an easy decision but sometimes the best we can do is give our dogs release.

It's a mile marker in our lives....we look back on the stretch of road and the memories....reminds of our ongoing passage....makes us thankful but wanting to go back and ride that bit of road again....

Sorry for your loss
