Off Season Fun for Paisley the PP

Postby azquailhntr » Mon May 29, 2017 6:55 pm

I decided to run Paisley in the local AZ Pointing Dog Club trials again this year. I have never really used an e-collar on her so we are running in the Gun Dog class. That is the top class for the club. The club is not sanctioned and not a national thing but, we have a ton of fun and there are some really good dogs. NSTRA champions and such that run with us. Well guess who won the first trial of the year and placed 2nd in the 4 trial of the year? Yup, Paisley the PP pup. Not even 2 yet and hanging with the big dogs. She is one fun pup to watch work!

Thanks all! She is a good one!

Calvin - she is Cedarwoods Gun Girl x Hidden Acres Atlas

It was windy and cold those weekends. There was still snow on the mtn near Flagstaff. Much hotter now...supposed to be around 116 by Monday :(

I am not surprised that your PP is doing so well. A buddy of mine ran his in a trial and took third place derby against some quality dogs. That dog is one of the nicest dogs that I have ever worked with.
Congratulation!

HIdden Acres Atlas has been a go to dog for Bob lately. HIdden Acres Brisingr, owened by Oxbow is from the same breeding pair I believe, and Calvin has said some very good things about her as well. I have one out of her daughter, Ayla, and Mac. She is only 13 wks old and she is showing me some good things for being so young. Still a ways to go of course. Congrats on your accomplishments. How far does she range naturally while hunting after the first couple of hours in decent weather?
