Cedar did well on our first UT test

Postby Addicted2fowl » Mon May 16, 2016 10:00 am

Cedar and I got a prz 2 188 this past weekend. He got into a redwing blackbird nest on the duck search and got attacked by every blackbird in the vicinity. So he then wouldn't leave the blackbirds alone resulting in a 3 in duck search. That's the only thing that took us out of a prz 1. He just turned 2 years old so I am proud that he did good. We are gonna retest in a few months to get that 4 in duck search as he is usually a savage duck searcher.

People always talk about unexpected things that happen at a test which you didn't prepare for in training. I have to confess, attack via swarms of blackbirds is something I have never prepared for!

Great job on the test, especially with such a young dog. I am sure you will smash that re-test.

Sorry about the glitch. Great score for a two year old.

That's a great score no matter what age. Congrats. You definitely have very good dog. Barring another strange hiccup and you'll get that prize 1.
