The scores for my litter, including a pup that tested in Mo, are as follows.
Ayssa 65
Akira 72
Apollo 74
Amsel 76

Pups from my male, Max acored well to
Zoey 65
Dakota 72
and the amazing Artee 78.

We also had two other join us. One from France
Indy 72
Elsa 70

It was a great testing weekend. Dan and crew didna very good job. Ialso got to begin my apprenticeship and had a blast.

Ended up sick on Sunday though and in the hospital Monday with Pancreatitis.......so they think. All I know is it is painful and I know about a hundred other places I want to be.

But agaon, I am so proud of our dogs. I think wr are mOving in the right direction

It was probably the dog flu, mixed with ebola or something. All I know is it is very painful.

I was fortunate to have wonderful h@ndlers/owners who actually took the time to listen. The pups did a wonderful job. Not just mine, there were some very very nice dogs thete. Again it was a great weekend. Cant wait to get ro the HZP in the fall!

Thanks Terry and D, was thinking this was a rough crowd. My pups were to cute to get kudos! Lmao   :multi:

Ha, Atleast 2-3 people think so. Geez, from the lack of response from this post you would think I was breeding crap dogs and not helping puppy people or put time and energy into paying my dues.
Pretty disappointing really, especially when I looked up to some folks on here. But, I guess that is what I get. I now know my place.

Mike, how is your pup coming along?

Yeah, I just got a little frustrated. To me, to have 4 out of 7 pups run the VJP with in a new club structure alone was amazing. But to have the scores range from 65-76 was outstanding and I thought would turn some heads. Then add 3 more offspring from my male to the mix that scored in the 70's with one being a 79. I would never have guessed that would happened. I was worried that people would be able to handle the Max/Baja mix. I was wrong.
Then to think I neutered my boy and maybe have lost his genetics. Like I said, I got a little whinny. It happens.

Now, I am looking forward to helping out with the training for HZP. I may get Jax back for training. He will be my first dog, not my own, for me to train for a test. Kind of excited about that. Plus training with another litter mate for the Oberlander. Fun SUmmer.

Right now I am head over heels for this new female pup I have. SHe is just a doll.

Keep doing what you're doing. I sing your praises to folks looking for sm/KLMs.

The beast is coming along. UT again at some point this summer. Need to see where she is at after a lot of hunting this fall. She needs a healthy dose of steadiness, and should be good to go, especially with sighted birds, prey drive and all that. She gets one more go and depending on how she does we'll go to IA next September or we'll be training for hunting. I'm already working on backing and long blinds. The more tools in the belt the better the dog.

Wild birds did wonders for her point/crowding issues. We'll see!

If you end up this way with some of the other SM/KLM folks let me know. I want to see this new puppy!

You are right about the tools and dog thing. I am learning that as we go! Even like how Force fetch makes a dog a really good house cleaning partner!

I been hoping we would run into you again. Maybe this summer!
