Bracco Italiano Reputable Breeder?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for some help in getting my first puppy/dog. I am looking for a Bracco. I am active (run, camping, a little bit of hunting) so I think this dog would suit me perfectly. Any one know any good breeders out there? How much would a puppy cost roughly? Thanks for all the help!

I've hunted chukar and pheasant with a couple dogs out of Minnitte's Kennel in NV. They were nice dogs; found birds, retrieved, swam, etc. I think if you spend some time on NAVHDA's test search page you can find who's breeding nice Braccs. Expect to pay a pretty penny and get on waiting list early. My buddy had a litter and got $2500 a pup and this was out of a personal hunting sire and dam with no NAVHDA testing. Good luck.

Dancing Duke is owned by Ron Boehme, a senior NAVHDA judge. IIRC his pups are the same price as what MTLHDR posted.

Might give Amy Musia a call. Evansville, In. 812-459-8833 (hearts on fire Kennel). Not sure she has any pups available, but she has GSPs and recently started with Bracco's. She tests NAVHDA and I know one of her Bracco just got 112 Prz 1. Hope it helps

Check with Ed Erickson Autumn Breeze kennels in Minnesota . Ed has been working with Bracco's for about 10 years.
