quick question about teeth

Postby Huntin4fun » Mon Sep 11, 2017 8:49 pm

My 5.75 month old pup is getting his adult canines. noticed yesterday that he didn't want to pick up the dummy like he usually did and that he wasn't eating. happy to report that it seems like they aren't bothering him anymore, however I noticed that the new adult teeth a poking out of the gums right behind his baby teeth. is that normal or should the new canines come in the same spot and actually push the baby teeth out as they come in? The new adult ones have just poked through the gums so not really worried at this point, just curious if that is where they were supposed to be coming out?

some times they stay for a little while, I wouldn't worry. they will eventually push them out.

Mine had the same thing happen on one side. I worked it back and forth each day to help the process. Finally came loose after about a week if I remember right.
