So how important is the cone head thing

Postby aulrich » Tue Sep 03, 2013 10:45 pm

Well we have had our first real injury, the boy got some sort of poke in the eye, a cone head came with the various med's. But I guess like all dogs he did not like his cone head, after a few tries we got it to stay on, but for the most part it seemed to stress him out more than anything. I am reluctant to have the cone head on while he is home alone in the kennel. Since the meds he does not really bug it.

I learned my lesson, a simple little thing and half my years dues for pet insurance in one shot.

There is a lot of Stress but not as much as you will have if your Dog injures the eye by rubbing with his paw . Mine has had one on for a week and they get used to it . I think it is more stress on me ....
If You Can't be a Good Example then You will just have to Serve as a Horrible Warning
