Applying Tuff Foot

Postby Steven » Mon Sep 17, 2012 8:14 pm

For those who have used it, what is the best way to apply it? I tried an old rag but it sure doesn't seem to get much on the pad (a whole lot in the rag and on my hands, though). Maybe it doesn't take much.

I pour some into a small dish and dip the foot, shake it off and then blow on it. It will dry quickly. Do not do inside the house. Pour what is left back into the container.

We toughen our dog's pads two ways.
1. Lots of 'free roading' year around on gravel roads
2. From the inside out with 50 mg Zinc Gluconate pills three times a week

I thought about doing that, but didn't want to waste all I poured out. I just put a very shallow amount in and then pressed his pads into it. It did much better than trying to apply with the rag.
