PNW training day report

Postby Constructeur » Tue May 05, 2015 11:01 am

This last Sunday we held an NA focused training day in our Pacific Northwest Chapter. We had a stunner of a day to get some great dogs out for a productive day of doggy school. I helped with the field portion, and we were fortunate to have a member share his homers with the group, and between that and the chukar we had, each dog was able to get 8-10 birds in just our portion. A definite treat for some new dogs and their owners!

I was also able to finally meet 'Addicted2fowl' and watch his talented PP work. Good stuff 8)

This was my first time helping with a training day and I know I had as much fun as the handlers. The 'positive vibes' I got off the days work, as well as learning from another perspective will stay with me for a while. 8)

mid teens, not sure of the exact count. An entire day tromping around in knee high grass planting birds in the beating sun, I was roached by the end. All in great fun though.

It was a good time for sure, and I left with a nice sunburn. The dog learned some, and I learned a lot. This is Duncan by the way, I had the small munster pup.
