![]() 9/11/99 (11 Weeks 5 Days) 19.0 Lbs Sit is now a reliable command. Well, lets just say it is a reliable as I am looking for with a young pup. It is possible to get her to sit under almost any circumstance but in a distracted state of mind it would require a raised voice to get results. We are now going to add a formal kennel command. This is another command that Rosie has a head start on from just being around the older dogs. Table Training is going on hold for the weekend. Rosie's mobility has now improved to the point that she is fully able to run and play with the big dogs. She does not have much of a problem keeping up with the exception being running in deep grass. This weekend Rosie will go with us to the duck lease. No hunting yet but there will be lots of fun for her while we construct and brush duck blinds. She will also get her first exposure to riding on a 4 wheeler. We have had some relief from the heat the last two days and we intend on taking advantage of that with some puppy marks at the duck blind. We also have a UKC hunt test coming up next weekend. Rosie will go along for the ride. If she seems up for it she may also be entered in her first puppy stake. It will depend on her attitude when we get there.
A final note on house training:
