Owner input: We owned our beautiful curly coat for 9 and a half years. She has just recently died and she was without a doubt the most beautiful dog even though her breeding line was not the best. She was an excellent guard dog, great with children, making her a wonderful family pet. She was also a great duck dog and loves the water. Easily trained though she had a tendency to think she was queen of the family. I would recommend this breed to any one and we will certainly be getting another . - The Bray Family
