I was hunting blue quail in El Paso TX about 12 years ago when a now good friend of mine showed up with a bunch of English pointers. I ask him if I could tag alone just to watch his dogs work. What I saw fascinated me and I got hooked on bird dogs.

I acquired my first dog, A German Shorthaired pointer who I named "Bingo" with the advise of my friend Bill Meeker, I trained and hunted this dog for a couple of years. Then I fell in love with Brittanys.

I started field trialing Brittanys in 1996 with my dogs AC&A BE-line Bonita and Ruff N' Amy's on The Mark. I have trained dogs for other amateur handlers and hunters alike. I love all breeds of pointing dogs but I favor the Brittany.
